Question Zaino

If the car is brand new, as in just came from the factory, and has been driven for only 1 week, do you need to use the clay stuff on it?

Yep. You should clay a brand new car as soon as you can. And it doesn't matter what wax/polish you are going to use. You should still use the clay.

The clay bar doesn't scratch the paint at all or anything?

I clayed my 99 SS and my 2002 SS right off the truck. It made a big difference. Wash the car first to make sure there is no dirt on the car. Most contamniation you can feel but not see, but it makes a difference in the clarity of the reflection. Use plenty of lubricant and clay on a cool surface, not in the sun. When done wash the car again to remove any residue. Use a light touch when claying too.

Ok, thanks. I have the Z-1, the Z-2, Z-6, and Z-7. Where can I get just the clay bar?
