Post Z6 Leaves Streaks Sometimes..

For some reason Z6 is starting to leave streaks when I clean my hood???

If I spray the hood and wipe it down about 1min later I have to rub my piant hardcore with a towel to get rid of them. Today I made a huge scratch on my hood because of it!! I guess there was some dirt on my towel..

But why is it doing that???

Also I can apply Z6 in the sun right, my hood was pretty hot when I was doing it..

It is best to use the Z-6 on a cool surface. When you spray a small area with the Z-6, don't wait to buff it off, do it immediately. It can dry so quickly on a hot surface it can streak. You can also apply the Z-6 to the towel instead of the surface and it will be easier to use and only use a small amount.

You did several things wrong, as Kevin V said you immediately buff the Z-6 off when you mist it on your paint, there is no waiting, it even says on the back of the Z-6 bottle not to let the Z-6 dry on the paint. Also, you never, ever want to spray the entire hood or large surface at one time, your work area for Z-6ing should only be about 1 square foot.

Also, if you as Kevin V said spray Z-6 onto a hot surface it starts to evaporate too quickly, you see, Z-6 is heat activated, this is why it disappears when you start running the towel over the paint.

I've also found that it'll streak if there is too much dirt/dust on the paint. Make sure the car doesn't actually need washed.
