Z-12 Glass Cleaner!

OK, I piggybacked off my friends Zaino order, and picked up a bottle of Z-12 Glass Cleaner. One of the few Zaino products I've not tried...

WOW! Great stuff!

A question though...

Can I use it on the inside of the glass? I am concerned about using it over the rear defogger lines, and the edge of the glass where it is "faded" into the structure....

I love their polish but haven't tried the glass cleaner. What about it do you think makes it better than say household glass cleaners?

It's night and day.

First, it's a mildly abrasive liquid (why I worry about putting on the defogger)... thicker than Windex... more like the consistancy of a liquid wax.

You put it on and buff it off like a wax.

It takes EVERYTHING off... no more bugs, no more water stains, no more nuthin'!

It's crystal clear afterwards.......... and absolutely zero streaks!

Wow, I didn't think it was that different. Pretty cool.

Have you used it in the rain? Being a 'buff off' product, I'm curious if it's similar to Rain-X?

Haven't drivien in the rain since applying...

It doesn't mention anythin on the bottle about a "Rain-X" effect, but I'll see how it does once we get some rain....

Re: Z-12 Glass Cleaner!

It isn't like Rain-X, just a mild abrasive glass polish. It isn't for regular glass cleaning but when the crud builds up.

You can apply Zaino Z-2 or Z-5 polish to the windows and it tends to let the rain run off real well, especially after you Z-6 the glass.

Re: Z-12 Glass Cleaner!

Guys, he is talking about an abrasive glass polish...not a spray glass cleaner. HUGE difference.

Ya, I guess I should have mentioned that this is not an "everytime" care product....

Re: Z-12 Glass Cleaner!

If you guys want an amazing glass cleaning process, heres what it entails:

Best Cleaner: Bon Ami Glass and Surface Cleaner
#0000 Steel wool (IMPORTANT its FOUR(4) zeros, NOT three, NOT TWO, FOUR)
Microfiber cloth

Spray the cleaner on, wipe it around the window with the #0000 steel wool, then take it off with the towell. Mark my words, you have never seen cleaner glass until you do this.
