Yellow streak on artic white. How do I get it off?
I RECENTLY GOT THE GAS CAP ON CROOKED AND LOST ABOUT 1/4 TANK OF GAS DOWN THE SIDE OF MY ARTIC WHITE Z. I HAVE TRIED SOME FINE GRIT COMPOUND AND IT MADE ONE HELL OF AN APPROVEMENT, BUT YOU CAN STILL SEE A SLIGHT TINT OF YELLOW. IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY. PLEASE HELP!
Step 1) Turn off Caps Lock
I had gas spill out of my tank before, and I used the rubbing compound. It made an improvment, but didn't get it all off. So I kept using it. I did it 2 more times (3 total) before it was back to normal.
Maybe you should use bug and tar remover? A little rubbing alcohol?

Yeah, seems like a lot of juys in the FS section do that. Maybe they think if they "scream" what they sell, people will buy, but it's just harder to read IMO. Besides, it's common internet courtesy.

I removed yellow stains from my friend's white truck with a buffer and regular wax.
