Yea or nay on new Zaino Z-2 Pro and Z-8?

I haven't been on the boards for a while now and I see that Zaino has a couple new products, the Z-2 Pro and Z-8 detailing spray. So how does everyone feel about these? Should I purchase or not? I love all my former Zaino products so of course I am leaning towards trying anything new but would like feedback.

Thanks in advance and oh yes, Mark in Maine with the Firebird, haven't heard from you in ages, please contact me.

Thanks, guys. I guess the "yeas" have it. I will definitely purchase soon and try the new goodies. Another question...what is the gold standard now for wash mitts? Still the Viking mitt or is there something better? And I assume the white cotton towels are good or are you moving on to microfiber?

Thanks again...Roxanne

For polishing/Zaino removal, I'm using the 'DF Towels' I purchased from my Zaino distributor.

Cotton towels are still good if they are the right ones, do not get the cheapies from Walmart, the are foreign made and IMHO very rough. I was at Kohls last night and they have very nice towels for a decent price. They have a good Martex towel from Westpoint Stevens and I bought a new towel to me from Laura Ashley made from a new fiber I have not heard of "micro cotton" its like the feel of a micro fiber towel but has the thickness of a bath towel.

I also use the www.dftowel.com which is a very high quality towel made only for car use and is approved by Sal Zaino.........

I've been very pleased with both Z2 Pro and Z8. Definitely improvements to the Zaino lineup.

Don't forget your prep

Clay is an important part of prep...ZFX doesn't have anything to with prepping paint.

Prepping paint consists of removing contamination via clay, removing oxidation, swirls, scratches, etc. via a good paint polish.

If you liked Zaino products before you should really like the new products like Z-8, and the Z-2 Pro that replaces the standard Z-2 has been very well received. Look for the new Zaino Paint Cleanser/Swirl Remover in the next few weeks, and then Z-5 Pro will follow the Paint Cleanser.

Re: Yea or nay on new Zaino Z-2 Pro and Z-8?

Dang it!!! I just got done doing five coats of the "old" Z5.

I alternate Z8 before and after the last Z5 coat. It does it work with no effort. Spray on and wipe off. I think it helps get the car "sweet" again sooner. I know that when the neighbors begin to make remarks on the luster. I laugh, I still need to get a couple of Z2's / Z6's on and then finish up with this new Z8. someone let me know when the new Z5 is out? Thanks...
