Angry Windshield polish?

I have alot spots on my windows and can't seem to find anything to remove them and put it back to it's nice clear state. I have tried boiling water, vinegar, windex. Nothing is working. You really can't see the spots in the ordinary daylight. However, in the morning when the glass is covered in dew, I can barely see out the damn thing. Can anyone help? I'm looking for a store product, something that I don't have to order.
Thanks to those that help.

Oh yeah, I also have some scratches in my T-tops and windhield. How can i get ride of them without taking it to a glass shop? How much would it cost at the shop?

Thanks again.

Thumbs up

I use Barkeepers Friend. It is an extremely mild abraisive that cleans all the residue from my windshield. I find it in the cleanser section of the grocery store.

I wash it off several times after using it to get any residue off of it. Keeps mine clean, bright and no spots.

I only wish I could use it on the inside of the windshield.

DualSS--Thank u SOOOO much man. This stuff really works. I bought it for $1.77 from the grocery store. Its kind of like Ajax but a little milder i guess. Only bad thing is that it takes FOREVER get all the spots off. You dont just wipe it on a then back off w/a dry cloth, you have to scrub like hell a small spot at the time w/just a small amount of water. All i know is it took me almost 3.5 hrs to do all my outside glass. It really works and it shines like a mirror now. Thanks again DualSS. Hope this helps guys.

Yeah it works on the ttops too. Mine shine like mirrors and before were very dull b/c of the thick layer of a water spot looking film. But like i said before, you have to scrub like hell a small spot at the time.
