I just washed my car a few days ago and it was looking awesome but I got home today and there was gobs of this gooey black stuff all over it. I think it was tar (definentally not bird crap) or something. HJas anyone ever had this happen to them? Im thinkin someone did it to me because i have no clue where it could have came from.

It was a pain to get off even with bug and tar remover. I had about 50 nickel sized spots that were a few mm thick. I just waxed and i think that saved my paint because the wax came off where this stuff was. the bug and tar remover left some ugly streaks so i have to wash again now.

Anyone know what it was and what i could do to get it off easier next time?
