What to use on tires?

Is tire foam really that bad? I've heard the usual horror stories about it. I've been using it for years and I've never really seen a problem. Its a quick solution to a problem we all face. Personally I really like Armor All professional series because it looks so good. Is it bad for my tires? What would you guys recommend I use?

It depends on what your looking for in terms of shine, Meguiar's Endurance Gel is good if your looking for shine on your tires, and it lasts pretty long, Zaino has a tire gloss Z-16 that gives your tires a satin look, and lasts pretty long. If your happy with what your using then keep using it, I found that tire foam did not last very long when I used it.

Do you know how I can find the nearest Zaino distributer near me? Do I need to call Sal to get it? I bought all my Z from a buddy and haven't ever gone through a real distributer. I'd like to try some of the Z tire stuff. I'm in the Davenport area.

I use black magic and I put it on with a tire sponge (you can buy them at pep boys) I like it and it doesn't sling that much

E-mail Sal at www.zainobros.com and ask him who your closest distributor is.

Ive been using Meguire's Endurance... I think that is it, anyway, the stuff that smells like grapes...

It shines great, and lasts a while, but it tends to sling off a bit...

I liek a high shine on my tires, that's why I haven't tried the Zaino Z16 yet, because it provides a 'satin' finish...

I may try the Zaino in the spring though, just to see what it looks like in person.

What would happen if you put just straight Zaino on your tires? Just out of curiosity. I know that some sealants would stain the tires real bad but what would Zaino do do you think? I've got it on my wheels but I've obviously never considered putting it on the tires. I'm still not... I'm just wondering what would happen.

Tire sidewalls are pourous, and Zaino Polish is for non-pourous surfaces... so I don't see a whole lot of good things happening if you put it on the tires....

I have been trying different stuff lately, and I actually found that Turtle wax has a pretty good tire wax.... keeps 'em looking really good for a while....

I also use it on my bike...

I use Black Magic gel and tire sponge. The kind with a tad bit of sparkle in it. I find it to sling the least, and stays on and shiny the absolute longest.

DONT USE ANY SPRAY stuff. It slings, and lasts terribly
