What polish to use for black?

I've heard of 3M polish for black cars, but haven't been able to find anything. I'm trying to get the swirls out of the clearcoat. Any ideas? What works the best?

The 3M polish you've heard about is probably #39009, "Perfect-It Foam Polishing Pad Glaze Swirl Mark Remover for Dark Cars". Are you planning on using a machine like the Porter-Cable, or polishing by hand?

yeah, I bought some 3m swirl remover, however it doesn't say anything about use for dark paint, this shouldn't hurt my paint right? I can't find anything for dark vehicles in my area.

I don't think it would hurt your paint unless you applied it with 80 grit sandpaper LOL What is the product # you bought? You could always purchase 3M products online.

that would not be good.

I just finished buffing the car out with 3m swirl remover then I polished it up nice. Really impressed with 3M , car looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.
