Talking What Order?

If I want my car to have a long lasting shine, should I first polish it and then apply a layer of wax to seal it in? Would this work?

Carnauba has a very short life, once heated in the sun it is toast, carnauba wax breaks down above 135 degrees and washes off when the car gets wet (ever noticed how you car does not bead after washing it, this is why) most any color paint surface on a 85 degree sunny day will have surface temps approaching 200 degrees, if you want long lasting protection I would use a synthetic final finish wax type product. Carnauba is just not a good choice to deal with the Texas sun and heat, kinda like putting a candle on your hood in the sun.

So what would you reccomend as a good sealer? It seems after a bit the shine just goes away....

For a polish I would use 3M Swirl Mark Remover part number 39009 and then use the Zaino system.
