What the deal with Meguires lineup

About 10-12 years ago I started using Meguires Professional "tan" colored bottles. Like number 2, 7, 26, etc. Then a couple of years ago they came out with the "red" 3step bottles that I swear are just like the "tan" bottles but less expensive. Then the Gold Class wax. Now, this NXT "ricer" wax stuff. Is it all the same and just marketing to different people? Sort of like SUV motor oil. LOL!!

Heck, they even make several car wash soaps. Talk about confusing.

You also forgot about the Medallion line up, Meguiars is very confusing... but most all wax companies launch something new every spring....

To me, I have all the of the NXT, the gold class liquid, and the paste. NXT is a totally different thing. It is MUCH easier to take off in my opinion. The only thing I dont understand is why keep making something youve improved on?

Ya, I agree... I can see having 2 product lines, maybe even three for a large company... "good, better, best" if you will.

But, Meguire's has so many products, and they really are not very well defined, IMHO.
