I am on my third coat of z 5. I am waiting 30 minutes between coats as the bottle says. I am now extending the third to dry for 60 minutes as I eat diner.


I washed with Dawn soap, I clay bared every inch and began z5.


It is better than liquid glass and I love liquid glass on a lot of my cars and I use it on others cars. Z5 is doing a great job on the swirls. Before midnoight I will have five coats of z5 on and then move on to other aspects of cleaning the car.


It goes on easy and comes off easy. A little goes a long way. I have put three coats on and I bet you can tell I used any out of the bottle so I am happy with that. The real test comes tommrow after five coatds if hte wife and others notice the shine and lack of swirl marks. I am not sure yet but I am become a zanoholic, the verdict is still out.

 

Are you using the ZFX? if so the most number of coats you should do in 24 hours time is 3 if you want them to layer, putting on more than 3 can cause it to over load the paint work. If NOT using the ZFX you should apply no more than one coat in 24 hours if the outside tiemp is below 70 degrees, if the temp is above 70 degrees you can apply the next coat in 6 to 7 hours.

Clay Bar entire Car
5 Coats of Z5


I can not wait to see the car tomorrow in the sun. The z5 bottle said up to five coats to notice a difference so I did five coats off the bat. Based off the above I feel this should give Zano a fair comparison to other waxes, polishes, ect… I have used. I seriously hope this was worth the effort today. I know it could not hurt the car.


The first two I waited 30 minutes between coats, the last three one hour between and longer in some cases.
