Wax removal?

I recently bought a vinyl for my Firebird and didn't realize that I should have waited to wax my car. I have the NuFinish wax that is apparently long lasting. I found some instruction online and it said to use something like windex or isopropyl alcohol and water. Will either of those take off the wax?

Isopropyl alcohol should remove the wax.

Re: Wax removal?

Liquid dishwash soap, just wash the whole car with it. Better then the above treatment.

Why strip the whole car when only one section is needed?

Maybe because he did not say it.

Hmm??

He's applying a vinyl decal (as mentioned in the original post). I assume it doesn't cover the whole vehicle.

Re: Wax removal?

Thanks for the information guys. I ended up using both suggestions. I found some alcohol but all i had were the pads, once I got to the bigger sections I got Windex out.
