Not going to defend Zaino one way or the other. But as far as the shade differentation between the hood and the bumper, I can provide some input.

If I've read your post corrrectly, the hood matches the fenders fine, but the bumper (front fascia) does not match the hood. If this is correct you do not have a problem ... sorry this is just the way it is.

I've had two metallic mystic teal Camaros in the last year. On both of them the front fascia was a little duller and slightly darker, it's just the way the material takes the paint. It was probably that way before and you just didn't notice. On my v6, I had the car for 9 months before I paid attention and noticed the difference.

Yup, that is exactly what I was saying that I have noticed also.

I spent about 15 minutes on the phone today with one of the guys from Zaino. He was very helpful and very informitive. He helped me to feel better about the whole situation. He basically just reaffirmed what KevinSS said about the front fascia not matching the hood. He has a pewter vette with the same problem. Thanks for all your imput. I am still not sure if I want to keep using Zaino because it does seem like a lot of work for not much better results than some high quality waxes that take half the time. Because of the great customer service I got today though, I am definetly going to give it another shot (at least one more chance).

You must be reading more into the Zaino process than I can figure out, you already have Zaino on the paint so the Z-1 is done for 6 months, soooo, wash the car when it gets dirty with Z-7, detail as you like with the Z-6, and apply ever how many coats of Z-2 as you want. None of these steps are ANY different than any other kind of wax or polish on the market, so I do not see how Zaino is all that much work.

And on all the following coats the Zaino polish is much easier to apply and remove than any "wax" product. The durability and protection it provides makes the decision very easy.

I use Maguiers. A LOT cheaper than Zaino & I can see myself in my car so I am happy with it
