Ok, i know this isn't recommend. But my polished rims have been dull for like a year. Nothing i used can get them to shine. Im sure if i used Brasso or never dull, they would shine right up. But would this hurt the protectent on the wheels?

(I once brassod the barrol of my M-16 for inspection. I got in trouble it because it was nice and shiny. Appearently they dont want shinny guns in combat.)

If your wheels are clear coated do not use anything that you would not use on your paint, if they are not clear coated then I would use Mother's wheel polish

 

Are you talking about polished custom wheels or polished factory wheel with a clear coat??
