Hi, I know all you guys know how to.. .but, How do I clean the engine and everything around it?

I used Griot's Engine cleaner & Engine gloss on my car's underhood, it's awesome stuff!
Here's the before and after pictures the first time I used it... the car had 14,000 miles on it at the time without ever being cleaned under the hood before (I know, shame on me).

I just spray simple green everywhere then hose down the engine bay. Then just wipe with a dry towel a little bit and it's nice and clean after that.

I used simple green the first time, to get any caked on grease off, then i used tuff stuff on stuborn stuff and the valve covers etc...then i used forumla 2001 on just about everything, meguires gold class tire gel on all the black patrts, hoses, intake etc...

I dont spray on the distributor or alternator.
