Uh oh... paint is scratched...

I've had my camaro parked in one of those car ports/large tents. Well, it's been fairly windy here recently. Somehow, the tent flap was left unzipped last night and the flap was being whipped against the rear bumper all night. I noticed it this morning and the rear bumper has light scratched ALL over the rear bumper. They're not deep, but they're definitely noticable.

My question: My paint is not clear coated, it is a single stage polyurethane. Is it possible for me to buff this out? If not... it's going to be staying like that for a while.

Yes it can be buffed out but I would take it to a body shop and have them do it. If you aren't afraid of ruining your paint you could do it yourself with a rotory polisher, compound, polish and a orbital polisher and a sealer wax. Check www.autopia.com for advise on how to do this.

You can do it yourself with some detailed instruction. Go to http://autopia.org/forum/united-king...site-sale.html to have your questions answered.
