TropiCare-Anyone use it?
TropiCare-Anyone use it?
Does anybody here use TropiCare? How do you guys like it or what have your heard about it? How would tropicare compare to shelf waxes like NXT and mothers? Can you layer it like Zaino or does it remove the previous layer once you put a new one on?
Re: TropiCare-Anyone use it?
No products truely "layer". After 3-4 layers, the layering effect diminishes with any product. Yes, even with Zaino. All waxes/sealants (especially liquids) have solvents in them, and the solvents remove some of the existing wax/sealant.
www.autopia.org has several reviews of this stuff, and I've seen nothing but good things.
Don't expect any sealant to work miracles, 95% of it is from the prep work.

Sigh. Another Zaino distributor that won't shut the hell up. Splinter, do yourself a favor and register on Autopia. There you will get UNBIASED opinions, unlike this place where Zaino=god in every given situation.
Re: TropiCare-Anyone use it?
seriously, i have tried everything minus Zymol concours and what not. Would love to use it, but as a college kid, even ZAINO is probably far more than I should be spending on car wax. In fact I would love to give the prize to a company like meguiars. Barry Meguiar is such a cool guy, watch car crazy, that guy is the man, and created his company purely for the love of the automobile and those who share his passion. I support his company as much as possible, but when it comes to wax. Zaino is king. I washed my car literally every weekend, sometimes more. I am OBSESSED about having an immaculate car, my friends think im crazy. This summer, After 2coats z-5 and 2 coats z-2 (pretty sure its z2, whatever the polish numbers are, i used two of each polish), i washed my car from july to today, I'm going to say twice, but only once that i can remember. I didnt have to. NOTHING stuck to my car with the exception of a little dust *atmospheric contaminents* (i.e. exhaust, industrial fallout, pollen, etc.). All of which came off completely with a quick spray and wipe of the ZAINO detail spray. The stuff is awesome, and rain still beads like i wiped crisco all over my car. Everything i have every applied is gone in 2-3 weeks depending on weather conditions. ZAINO is a trooper, and my choice from now on.
Re: TropiCare-Anyone use it?
cool I will check that site out cmroz28. Im not going to use Zaino, Ive heard all the good reviews but with me being in college I cant afford to spend 100+ on it.
I just got my car painted so when I first polish it I want something good to use but Im looking for something a little better than the off the shelf products.

Re: TropiCare-Anyone use it?
I would not spend 100 dollars to try it either, most people start by spending under 25 dollars and get Z-1 and Z-2, there are many good producs for your car, most just do not last very long
