Is there a way to 'detail' out deep scratches?

Question Is there a way to 'detail' out deep scratches?

I have a few scratches on my Camaro that penetrate the wax coating on my car, and I think penetrate the clear coat a bit. Would the scratch be covered up and unnoticable close up if I just removed all of the current wax w/ dish soap, then put on more Zaino? Or would I have to go w/ the dreadful Plan B where I'd have to get that section recoated then waxed?

Cool

Run your fingernail along it... can you "feel" it? If so, you'll probably need to, at a minimum, have it wet sanded out. You MIGHT be able to compound it out but that'll be iffy. A scratch that catches your fingernail is often times a scratch that requires a repaint

Zaino is a good product for making an already good paint look better. It doesn't work very well to bring back faded paint or as an abrasive to remove scratches.

I'll move this to the Show and Shine forum...
