Swirls Swirls Swirls

Hi, I have beet trying to read up on getting rid of swirls and am now a little overwhelmed with the products available. Ill be using an air orbital with the velcro backing plate. There was a post with black WS6 he did for a buddy but I cant find it anymore, I think it was a Klasse/poorboy combo he used.

1- Its a red car and I was thinking of using 3m swirl remover for dark cars on an orange light cut pad.
2- Some type of polish with a white pad needed inbetween?
3- Gold class or NXT paste wax, never used either but I liked using meguiars stuff previously

Do I have to clay the car before the swirl remover so im not dragging crap over the paint?

thanks
-Tg

You should clay first, and there's a good chance you're going to need something stronger than the 3M SMR to start with.

What is something more agressive to remove the deeper stuff? I was looking at 3m stuff just because it is avaiable locally.

3M makes lots of options. You may look into their Fine Cut Rubbing Compound or Machine Glaze.
