Question Summit Water Blade?

Has anyone used the Summit Water Blade without any negative effects? Being priced $7 less, is it of the same quality of the California Water Blade?
Opinions appreciated.
Thanks,
GT

I have not used the Summit WB, and to be honest, I really didn't know they even had one. But here's my take: The Cali company first made the Car Duster, which also works great. Soon after, several companies jumped on the idea and started making a similar product. Same with the Cali WB. After it first came out, a few other "imitations" started showing up later. For instance, I was in a local Target a while back and happened to notice an off-brand Water Blade, don't even remember the name. IMHO, I wouldn't touch it on my car!

Point being, accept NO substitutions. The Cali Company makes the originals. High quality and work great. You could always risk trying out an inferior imitation and see how it turns out.

I've seen the imitations too. I have an original Cali water blade. It cost like $3 more than the generic Target one. Spend a few extra dollars and get a quality product you know will last.
