Spray on Cleaners - Squeek?
Alrighty, well after reading a few post I realised that I shouldn't be using those Acid spray on cleaners... My Eagle One bottles found a nice home in the trash can now =)
My question is could this stuff have caused my brakes to start squeekeling? I try not to get any on.. but it has gotten on em in the past by accident... When i took my brakes off a while back to change the discs i noticed they were coated in a black filmy stuff. Is that normal? I cleaned em with brake cleaner and it went away for a few weeks, but returned again =(
Also, when detailing calipers.. what do you want to avoid spraying brake cleaner on? (other than the guide pins). THnx =)

I dont know about your squeaking. I used that spray cleaner once, but my brakes never made any noise after that.
When I clean my calipers, I just spray liberally with Brake Dust Buster and then hose off 5 minutes later and Viola! Clean calipers!
