Not sure what it is though. It's clear (If that's supposed to be a hint to me, I haven't taken it yet), and it feels and looks like some sort of extremely thin plastic. It's just sort of flaking off near my door.

What is it, and how do I get rid of it or stop it from falling off?

Any help is appreciated.

 

What exactly is it flaking off of? The paint? If so, it's probably your clearcoat.
