Small gas spill on paint?

Were doing a H/C swap on my car and the fuel lines had a mind of there own for a second and a little gas spilled on the drivers fender. Got even with them though, choked the life out of them with a zip tie. Anyways wiped it up with a rag but the black paint has a milky look to it. Is this just the wax? What do I use to clean up this spot before I wax it again? Thanks for any ideas you might have.

Actually nothing. Gas evaporates very quickly. As long as you washed the area right away then you are fine. If you want to be safe, you could wash it again with a ph balanced car wash, then wax.

Thanks, thats what I thought. With only 28k on the car and the paint still looking good I just wanted to be sure.

Just wash with a car wash and re wax, gas will not hurt paint if it does not stay on there long.
