rims

ok i got a set of z06 rims from asf a few weeks ago. and its been raing here in fla alot. 2 day i got a decent day. and i went out to poilish my rims. And i started to do the back one and it still looks bad its all cloudy and crap. wat do you guys use to polish them? i want them o shine again! lol i wanna get them clean!

Are they painted, clear coated, polshed, or chrome????

You need a metal polish like Blue Magic, Mothers, or Wenol

If when you rub on the surface the cloth should turn black, it if does NOT, stop your wheels are clear coated and you should not be using metal polish on them...

And if they are clear coated, you should use a sealent on them, like Zaino. Make sure to get as much as the rim as possible, this will make it MUCH easier to remove break dust later from anywhere on the rim.

i used ArmorAll Quicksilver wheel cleaner today.......spray on, wait 30 seconds, hose off.....works GREAT
