Repolishing Wheels

I have aluminum vette wheels on my camaro and they are looking a little dull. What is the easist way to get them shiney again. there arent any scratches so where do i need to start.

Is this a job for the trusty Dremmel tool or do i need to do some hand rubbing?
Can i run down to wally world and pick up everything?

Truthfully, I've had amazing luck with those mothers powerballs. They've brought my wheels back from the dead a couple times.

Back from the dead = wheels weren't touched for 6 months or so and looked painted gray

This kit will work 10X better than anything a Dremel could ever hope to do:

It will work with an electric drill, (a little slower), or ideally, with an air die grinder.

i've used

the mother's mini powerball and some mother's aluminum polish. Works great.

Next time, if I'm motivated enuf, I'll remove the wheels from the car first..

I use the powerball mini and I've found that blue corral makes a metal polish that works better than the mothers metal polish and it puts a coating on it that makes it take longer before they need to be polished again.
Then I just use the meguires hot wheels wheel cleaner when I wash it and I only need to polish them a few times a year.
