Rear quarter panel damage
So the Formula I picked up recently has been hit on the passenger side, down the door and onto the rear quarter. I figure I can just replace the entire door easily enough, but the quarter looks to be a PITA. It is creased and cracked and scraped up, but not dented very deeply. The door opens and closes fine, and seals against the T-top as well.
I was reading the diy bodywork thread and wondered if bondo is the way to repair this damage? I imagine replacing the whole quarter panel would involve cutting it off and welding a new one back on, and that's definitely above my skill level.
Has anyone had a rear quarter panel fixed/replaced? How was it done, how much were you charged, etc? Is that panel fiberglas or steel? Any tips for a do it yourself repair?

My '95 Z28 got hit there. It cost over $3700 to get fixed.
If you cut the old section out and weld in a new one, the likelihood of rust is much higher. It would be better to have the dent pulled and reuse the old quarterpanel. Don't use bondo.
Replacing the door is the way to go however.
