Hey guys, I Zaino'd my Camaro about 3-4 months ago with the base and then the polish and it looked great! Since its been rainy and ugly, I haven't put any more on but after washes it still looks great!

Since I'll be having time this week to do it, do I need to re-apply the base (brown stuff)? This time I plan on applying 2-3 coats!

No you do not have to use the Z-1 this time, just wash and Z-6, then apply your Z-2, rule of thumb is use Z-1 every six months for daily drivers, once a year for garage queens, you will also want to add a coat of Z-1 after ten coats of polish

 

I concur with Carl.....

You may want to do a light claying too, after that many months you will have some contaminants that will affect surface gloss and smoothness.

 

Since you aren't using the ZFX additive make sure you allow enough curing time between coats.
