protecting paint and wheels

A friend is running hawk blue pads and the dust supposedly really screws up the finish on the wheels and paint. He was told to use Astroshield Auto Polish for protection. Has anyone had any experience with this product? Can anyone suggest a better long lasting product.

Astroshield is very similar to Liquid Glass and Finish First. They are a synthetic silicone polymer with a mild cleaner, so it won't really layer. But, yea, the durability will be much better than most carnauba waxes, but not near as good as Zaino or Klasse for protection. Zaino is probably one of the longest lasting products on the market right now. It's certainly the longest lasting that I've ever used. Trying to find a longer lasting, better protecting product is nearly impossible.....believe me, I've tried.
