Protecting headlights from UV rays?

What's the best product out there for protecting headlights from getting fogged up looking due to UV damage? I've been using Plexus the last several years which claims to protect headlights but it doesn't specify protection from UV anywhere on the can or on their website. One of the headlights on my wife's 4runner is showing slight UV damage and I'd like to put a stop to it ASAP. Maybe I just haven't been applying plexus often enough or maybe plexus just doesn't help in that regard.

I think zaino Z2 in theory has a UV guard but would it work on headlights? I also have their 'plastic magic' stuff and it says nothing about UV that I've seen, so I'm left wondering if their plastic specific product doesn't protect against UV but their paint product does, maybe something is different about headlight plastic that makes protecting against UV difficult or impossible for products like that?

maybe this: http://www.rvinyl.com/headlight_prot...unner_2003.htm doesn't appear to be difficult to install. there are vids on youtube showing how to install. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNwRBS0UcAg

There is no 'magic' product I am aware of. Regular polishing with a mild paint polish or a plastic polish (ex: Meguiar's Plastix available at Wal-mart) works well to maintain clear composite headlamps.

for a T/A it's the headlight switch

seriously though there are some clear polishes like meguers plast-x that are supposed to be good for hazy headlights.

Would regular Zaino work? I'm trying to take extra precautions on my Fusion.

Also those vinyl covers look interesting.
