Price quote for a reasonable paint job
Price quote for a reasonable paint job
I went through a fence after sliding on a slick road.
No structural damage.
I've replaced and primered the damaged panels (front clip).
Now it needs paint.
There are scuff scratches (no gauges) maybe 10 total. Otherwise the body's condition is free of serious defect.
Black 94 Formula Firebird. I don't want to change color (maybe add metallic).
I can disasemble the lights, door latches/locks, remove the mirrors, etc to cut down on prep time and then I can reasemble once it's done.
What is good price to turning this thing out decently (with good clean prep) without having a show car...? Basecoat/clearcoat of course since this is a daily driver.
I know I could prep any areas needing some small attention and get the essential sanding done prior to primer, but I also know most shops don't want to touch partial work done by someone else. Only reason I did the front clip was so I could get it back driving again and that I could do the back sides of the fenders/fascia so that wouldn't need to be disassembled again.
thanks...
