Porter Cable 7336

Does anyone here use one? If so, what pads/cleaners/polishers do you use with it?

Re: Porter Cable 7336

I use the 7336, it is the same as the 7424 except the 7336 comes from the factory with a six inch counter weight where the 7424 comes with a 5 inch weight. You need the 6 inch weight anyway to run the 6 inch velcro backer plate.

Lowes sells the 7336 every day for 99.99

I get my Lake Country pads and backer plate from www.topoftheline.com

Kevin--I just picked up my 7336 and have been trying to figure out rather to buy Lake Country or Sonus. Why did you decide on Lake Country?

I like the 7.5 inch LC pads with the contour edges, I never read or heard much about the other brand name you mentioned....

What products did you use in preparation before applying Zaino?

Depends on the surface and the condition of. I first applied Zaino in 1998 so I don't remember that far back, LOL...

If the car has no defects, just wash it. But if it needs buffing I use 3M Swirl Mark Remover or 3M Finesse It II.......
