Post Pics of zaino/meguires comparison

Ok. I zaino'ed (Z1, Z5, Z2)my car a few weeks ago, except for one side of my hood, which i used the meguires products on (cleaner wax, polish, and gold class wax). While washing my car this past weekend i was amazed to see the results:

You can see that the meguire's side doesn't even bead water anymore. The Zaino is beading water like crazy! This is just another example of the lasting power of Zaino.

WOW Very impressive. I have been a Meguire's user since '88, looks like I will be making the switch in the Spring of '02.

Now that's a cool pic.

Good justification of lasting power, I agree.

Glad you posted that, kinda sums up what I have been saying for the past 2 or 3 years, any product wax or polish can make your car shine, but what is the point if after you wash it, that product is gone???? Durability is just one of Zaino's strong points, funny how the biggest car wax companies in the world, have not even made waxes even remotely as durable as Zaino.

I myself have been using meguires for a long time, but decided to try zaino, "just because" I'm stuck on zaino now!

Thank goodness Sal Zaino isn't like the "rest of them". He does his best to give us the best products as reasonably priced as possible. He is a true car enthusiasts and we get to reap the benefits from his hard work.

i'm not gonna dis any product here. i use meguiar's myself, i'm open to other's though. anyway, i have always thought that water beading was good, however, in that pic the beads are just sitting there. if the car was as slick as it should be wouldn't the beads be almost nil? that's what i always notice about my car's when they get rained on...the water just runs right off...have i been wrong in assuming so?

either way the car looks good, wax is holding up...and zaino has proven to be quite a quality wax.

remember people, no flames here. just questions.

Meguires does give a good shine, better than most products, but Zaino isn't actually a "wax" it is a synthetic polymer polish (don't know the tech background) and doesn't wash off, giving much more durable protection. Zaino stacks so with each successive coat added the protection and shine increases. It even has UV protective ingredients added to it to protect the surface. It is far easier to apply and remove than any other product I've ever used. These reasons are why I've been using Zaino for 4 years and will never again use anything else. Hope this helps answer some of your questions.

I did the same test as jkayner, using several different polishes along side Zaino and realized similar results. However, I don't think there's much point in posting pictures, as anyone can claim the test was rigged or more Zaino was used or no Meguiars was used at all, etc....

Don't accept these pictures or my similar results as the truth. Go out and do it yourself and see what happens. Just make sure the surface you test on is totally clean when you start.

Why would i try to deceive the members of this board? I followed the instructions as described by each product. The pictures are of the result. NO trick photography, NO Rigging of the two waxes/polish.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

I believe people are inherently honest, but I know others do not feel the same way. You and I know the difference in these two products, because we've both tested them side by side. Others who still question Zaino after all this time won't be swayed by a few pictures and testimonials. The only way they will be satisfied is if they do it themselves, which is what I am encouraging.
