People Claying their cars.. Please listen
When claying your car, please don't rub so hard it looks like you are trying to dent your car.
Story: Walking my dog Saturday (after completly detailing the wifes car) I see a nice looking green SC400. The owner is out front getting ready to clay it. As I walk by I can see him leaning into his car dragging and pressing his clay bar into the hood. I had to stop and tell him the proper way to do it. He thanked me and off I walked.

If you push that hard with it, you are liable to do more damage than good!
I was claying the better 1/2's car getting it ready for the Arizona spring/summer, with Zaino. It had been about a year or so since the last claying, so I decided it needed to be done. The difference is amazing.
With the amount of sun, dirt and dust storms we get, it is amazing at the amount of "grit" a car picks up.
BTW, Zaino kicks butt in this sun.

Does clay take off all layers of Zaino?
Also, I have the mothers clay, and I HATE doing it. Before I Zainod I only did the hood..and a few months ago I just did the rear bumper and top roof part. Is the Zaino Clay any difference(in the way that you use it) from the mothers, or is it pretty much the same?

A hard claying will remove a small amount of Zaino, but a light claying will a negligible affect on the Zaino.
The Zaino clay is a little easier to work with thena the other brands I tried but it is the same principle.
Claying is very easy to do, if you are using plenty of lube and using it on a cool surface, but not too cold outside that the clay gets harder to use.

You use the clay the same way, no matter who makes it. Just don't get the Meguiar's, as it is a pos. Be sure to use plenty of lube, as that helps ease the job.

The Zaino bar was overall very good.
I have not tried Mother's.

I always thought you were suppose to clay before you put wax on? I thought it was a paint decontaminant or something?

You can also clay a few times a year to remove the build up that has occured since your last claying...
