Paint Care
Paint Care
I'm getting my car back from the painters here in a couple of days and I spent ALOT on a paint job ($5k), i'm just curious if anyone has any pointers on what to do to keep the paint looking it's best for the longest.
Your best bet is to go to www.autopia.org and register on there, make a post, and you'll get tons of useful info. The "Learn!" button also has some very useful tips. There's too much to type out in one post....I joined there 3 months ago and have learned SO much.
Good luck

Towels are probably the most important thing, good quality micro fibers are from www.dftowel.com and if you want to use terry bath towels look for towels that are white in color and made in the USA, Supima cotton is best.
Use something of cotton to wash with, no sponges and never try to rub on a surface that is dirty, need to wash once per week at the least.
