Paging Mike, or Kevin

I have a car cover guys, made by Big Sky car cover with the same fabric california car cover uses.

It is listed as "Dust top" I think, seems pretty soft, but what i was wondering, if when i'm putting it on and it rests/slightly rubs against the paint.......will it swirl?

Not as long at the car is perfectly clean when you put it on.

Yup, I concur with Kevin.

Otherwise, regardless of the material, if you rub in or bump against dust or dirt, it is likely to swirl or scratch. Even with the softest & safest material on Earth, rubbing it againt dusty paint (without some kind of lube, but that's obviously impractical here) is a sure way to swirl. Make sure the car is clean, dust free, and you're fine, unless the material itself can cause swirls.

Just wanted to know how safe the actual dusttop material was.

Cool Hehehe

Oh I definitely believe that your car is ultra-clean! Shouldn't be a problem for you.

About the material though, never used it, so can't really say there... but if it's a good quality like CCC it should work out just fine.
