Not Impressed with Klass
Several months back I made a post asking for your advice on Klass. I had been using Zaino for three years with good results. However, I am open to trying something new if it sounds good.
Well, a couple months ago I tried Klass. (You ask why I am posting now? Well, I finally got around to it. I haven't been on the board in a while. Anyway...)
While my car looks pretty good (99 red Trans Am), my car looked better with Zaino.
I used two applications of Klass and then used the gloss (following the directions with all the applications). A few weeks later I appled another coat of Gloss. Now, I do admit that I used a little more Klass than I needed. However, I had no problem with it drying and getting it off... no haze or anything like that.
My car just doesn't have the shine or sleekness I would have with Zaino. While I don't have photographs to show you, my memory is good enough to know that Zaino worked better for me. I am not saying Klass is bad; I am just saying Zaino is better.
While the longevity of the product compared to Zaino remains to be seen, at this point, it doesn't matter since the difference in shine is so noticable.
I am glad I found this out for myself. I like to base things on my own experience. Nothing like trial and error.

Trying different products until you find the one that works best for you is the best approach. I did it for 30 years until I found the best.

davey,
I completely agree with your assesment of Klasse, at least compared with Zaino. In my heart of hearts, I too, feel Zaino is all around the better performer. I like the bright, clear, yet deep shine of Z, the durability seems better, the slickness, and I certainly like the ease of use. But, as Kevin V said, you don't know until you try. My results with Klasse mirror yours. Klasse certainly has its place, but not on my car!
I think Klasse works great on relatives' car's that don't deserve my Zaino!
So, nothing goes to waste around here...

well, i give him credit for trying!!
but to each his own...

it's interesting with the klasse vs zaino thing, cuz between this board and a few others, i've seen roughly the same amount of folks switch from klasse to zaino as zaino to klasse.
oh well, at least they're putting the world's two best on their cars
