Need help w/ polishing

I have a 69 Camaro that is painted Indigo blue. I live in Az and the dust here is rediculous. It is a show car so I am looking for something that will not create swirl and scratch the paint. I have tried Meguiars 1,2,3,7,8 stages and when Im done polishing, I hold a floodlight next to it and I can still see scratches. Plus, I can barely just run a rag over it and its scratches the crap out of it. I only use diaper rags, no terri cloth, microfiber, and regular towels. Is there anything that any of you have found that will take away those scratches and protect from scratches alittle better than the above mentioned?? I have a California duster and when I swipe it down the car, the dust just tears the paint up. I dont like polishing the car everyother week just so it is presentable. Any help will be considered and defidently appreciated!!! Thanks!

I've read that the new Meguiar's Generation NXT Tech Wax or Zaino Bros. will help hide swirl marks. As far as preventing them, you'll probably have to ditch the diaper rags and California duster and go with 100% cotton terry cloths or microfibers.

I've been using the MFTech towels for a year now. They're great. NO swirls or scratches, ever.

Thanks for your help! Are these MFTech towels better than the Meguiars m/f towels?? I tried those the other day and it scratched the car all up. Do you wash the towels before you use them? I dont know why my paint is so extremely fragile but I cant get anything to work. Thanks!
