need help gettin x off my spoiler.......

got an ss spoiler from a wreck and junkyard put x on hood and spoiler.....the x was white now the outline of it is black and it can be seen.....what should id do??????

Try a claybar, rubbing alcohol, WD-40 to start and see if they work. I mild abrasive such as 3M swirl mark remover may do the trick if the gentler methods don't.

Did you try a mild abrasive like the 3M swirl remover???

Unless they literally scratched the paint putting in the X, that should have worked. If not, take it to a paint shop and see if they have something that will remove it. You may end up just needing to have it repainted if they messed it up that bad.

repainting was just what i was afraid off

Are you sure an abrasive wont hurt the rest of the spoiler?
