Actually it is 385 Horses. Read what I wrote.
I got all the SLP options. Stock she starts at 325 horses. Now put the co-induction system, high performance exhaust system, and new rearend just to list a few options. Trust me I know. I custome ordered this car. For as much as I was going to spend on this car I made damn sure it had everything I wanted from horses to handling. Cause yes I also put the SLP handling packages on it as well. This is not a car I happen to find on the show room floor that the dealer had configured. This is 100% ordered they way I want it. Which would probably explain why I have already had several offers already worth twice what I paid for it.

nice car. why did you let them put a tag on the front? do yall have to have them on your car?

and about the 385hp, it is 345hp with the exhaust and air box combo. this combo only takes it from 325hp stock to 345hp.

Ok, show me a dyno sheet. I call official bs!! Sorry to flame, but an air lid and exhaust don't make 60 horsepower! I like the car alot though, it is beautiful. Get headers, and a cam, and then I might believe it!!

Cool

Yeah.....I'm going to have to side w/ Jack on this one. There is no way that car has 385 horsepower. Maybe, maybe close...and believe me this is hypothetical...at the crank, but it's probably more like 330 or so like Jack said. Peace.

I am also sorry to flame the owner of such a beautiful ride, but 385hp keep dreaming, Headers, cam, a 50-shot, probably, but there is n-oway you get 60hp by an air lid and a better flowing muffler.

385hp does seem a little high but who knows... just look at the berger and intimidator ss models there both rated at 380hp and all they really have is intake and exhaust. this guy has gears too... so it could have 385hp..

It is interesting that he should mention the 385 HP, as just last week I saw an ad for a TransAm, called the Blackbird (although the picture was red), with several listed mods claiming 385 HP. The ad also mentioned that only 50 were made, & price started at about 39,000.00!

The "Blackbird" is rated at the flywheel. The SS is actually rated at 345 hp from Chevrolet. Knowing this it may make 385 at the flywheel, but it is definately not at the wheels.

Lightbulb

385 HP = 327 RWHP (roughly, using 15% loss)

385 is a little hi, but all the new F-bodies are putting down 305-315 RWHP stock (6 spds). Some as hi as 320.

Mine put down 310 HP /332 torque bone stock last weekend (365 flywheel using 15%)...dyno sheet in sig...

You sound a little goofy talking about the SLP options, etc giving you 385 HP...IMO

1. i want to know just how the hell you think the rearend gives the car more power. it may pull better but not give more power

2. if you ordered this car what kind of idiot would offer you twice what you paid for it when they can order one just like it. i thinks you's a lair
