Mothers Polishing Ball
Mothers Polishing Ball
Saw this thing on tv and was wondering it it was worth a try. I have billet aluminum wheels and that thing looks like it would make it alot easier to polish the wheels other then doing them by hand. I have heard and experienced that microfiber towels work best when polishing wheels, does the buff ball fell similar to a mirofiber towel?

Re: Mothers Polishing Ball
I have been using one to polish my wheels recently. It works very well. I used the "ball" only to do the inside of the wheels. I used it on the outside as well, but also went over the outside with a MF towel and Mothers Billet Polish. The duo makes an unbelieveble difference. I use Flitz on the ball, then finish up by hand with Mothers billet polish. THe ball does a great job on large surface areas, but it is difficult to get into the little "nooks & crannies". I have Bonspeed Crokus wheels in the five spoke version.

As you can see there are some hard to reach areas.
