Thumbs up Mother's Back to Black: OK to use on interior??

Has anyone tried using back to black on their interior pieces (dash, door panels, knee bolsters, etc..) Any reason why you couldn't? Advantages over regular old Armor-All?

You could, but I would not want my interior all greased up, I hate AA on the inside also.

I use it on my interior. It works really good. I wouldn't recomenend using it on the steering wheel because it will make it slippery for a while. Other than that, its good.

I use it on my interior all the time. works good. It will attract dirt if you have a light color interior like tan. But i still use it, i just clean the plastic often. Also on the steering wheel it can be slick, buts whats worse is if you rub your eyes after driving, it will severely iritate your eyes.

you guys amaze me... you put that stuff on your steering wheel, and then rub your eyes? Haven't you ever read the back of the bottle? Sorry not meaning to flame or anything, just thought you were a little bit smarter!

Also, the steering wheel in F bodies is leather wrapped I am pretty sure about (I know the one in my 96 Impala SS is) so you never want to put any tire dressing or silicone coating like Armor All on it, doing so will cause the wheel wrap to deteriorate. The wheel covering and shift handle I think are both leather wrapped and needs leather cleaning and conditioning products.

well thanks,
its not like i rub car products on my hands and rub them in my eyes, i detail the car and then when i drive it i touch my eyes.

Also i dont think back to black will hurt leather. I've used it on leather for quite some time. Look at leather cleaner, it has the same sorts of things in it as tire shine.
Petroleum distilates, not only that but back to black is not really a tire dressing.

Back to Black shouldn't hurt the leather. I use it on my stearing wheel and nothings happened. Back to black is good for lots of stuff on the car. I use it on my car bra and it looks good.

fbird95 - You should stop touching your eyes while in the car.
