alright, biggest 2 things I hear about zaino is
1) It costs too much
2) There is too much work involved.
Cost, yeah its expensive, but I am cheap and ghetto and think its well worth the value.
As for "too much work"
pfft... no way this is the easiest stuff in the world to use!
Goes on easy, comes off easy, lasts freaking forever.
Before I begin. My car is Navy Blue Metallic, so a very dark color and a 100% outside car in wonderful sunny/rainy/polleny Orlando, Florida.
First I will start at the begining... I did a 1.5 day detail of my car, sounds like alot, jsut really means I didn't use my car for 1.5 days, I pretty much put on a coat of Zaino and let it sit and bond, I used ZFX, and people tell me I went overboard and I only had to wait about 20 mintues if that long, but I had my dad's vette while my car was being polished so..... I figure let the polish bond to the car
I woudl put a coat on went shoppng with girlfriend came home took coat off, used Z6 put next coat on watched TV.... just spaced the coats out.

People say Zaino is so much work but this is the darkest colored car I have owned and since I used zaino its been easier to cleand and keep clean.
BTW my rims, I Zaino the **** out of them too in January, brake dust wipes off with your hand, haven't used a chemical once to clean them other then the same stuff I am using to wash the car with.

I washed my SS for the first time since October last weekend and the water was beading up as if I just polished it. It had only been sprayed off at the quarter wash and Z-6's all winter.
The durability and protection of Zaino definitely can not be beat.

Durability is fantastic with Zaino!
Also, on the 'costs to much' and 'too much work' fronts, I'll add that it only costs more if you actually do all the prep work only for Zaino, and not with whatever it is the person looking for an excuse is comparing it too...
Prep work should be done no matter what you use, and if you factor the time and cost into the prep work and the supplies used, it is just about a wash.
to Zaino!

Since we are singing the praises of Zaino, here's an excerpt from an email I recently sent to them...
I stopped by the local Wholesale Warehouse Club (BJ's to be exact) to get gas in my SUV. I had the misfortune of being there when the fire suppression system in the roof of the station malfunctioned. My Blazer was engulfed in a dry fire supression chemical. The Fire Department instructed me to wash our SUV several times immediately as the chemical is corrosive and is difficult to remove. It took 3 car washes to remove this stuff... one at a drive-thru car wash at another gas station (which I don't like using but had little choice a the time), Once at a Do-It-Yourself car wash to take advantage of the high pressure hose, and once by a professional detailer (which I instructed to only wash, NOT wax the truck). Despite all of the abuse from the corrosive fire retardant and the multiple car washes to remove it, the finish still beaded the next time I washed it. By the way, the last time I put a coat of Zaino polish on was well over 3 months prior to this. Thanks for making such excellent products!

It don't really cost that much if you compare to some of the "better" stuff you can find in the stores, hell awhile back I roughly figured how many coats of z5 I used divided by the cost and it was like only $.25 per coat

Ummm, what would you recommend? I've tried just about everything you could find in an AutoZone/Piimp Boys and even some things purchased at car shows. I have seen nothing, absolutly *nothing* that beats Zaino.

Products that rival Zaino and IMO give a better shine and feel:
Poor Boys and Wolf Gang, Enzinette.
But anything can be made to look better with the right prep. Clay, Swirl remove, and then even Megs #16 would out shine and feel any Z product. Z does have a few good products I agree, glass polish I love, leather care is good, but Z2 and Z5 imo only offer durability not a shine I would consider outstanding.
