Post Lifter 1 over spray on center console

I was cleaning my carpets and seats with some lifter 1, and I guess some over spray got on the center console, what do I need to get it off, will some plastic polish get it off or plastic cleaner, or maybe both, what do you guys suggest. The console is black by the way.

Did the Lifter1 stain or discolor the console, or did it just dry on it? If it's stained or discolored from the cleaners in L1, then yes you may need a plastic cleaner/polish to restore it. Try a damp cotton towel first to see if it rubs out. If not, try a plastic protectant such as Meguiar's. Their protectants also contain light cleaners which might remove the L1. As a last resort, try the plastic polish and/or cleaner as they are abrasive. I've seen 3M and Meguiar's plastic polish/cleaners at various auto stores like NAPA.

Not sure weather it's stained, discolored, or just dryed on there, it basically looks like little white chicken pox on the console, I tryed some meguiars natural shine vinyl&rubber protectant, didnt get them off. I think i'll get some meguiars plastic cleaner and polish, cus I was wanting to do the tail lights as well. Thanks.

You did try water, right? Water is an excellent solvent (otherwise stuff wouldn't dissolve in it)and may do the trick. If you didn't try water first, then it may take longer for it to work because the other products can 'seal' the Lifter 1 somewhat.

Are the specks stuck in the texture, or on the surface? If it's down in the texture try using a terry cloth towel with deeper loop, or a soft tooth brush very gently.

Next steps I'd try
1. Rubbing alcohol
2. Test a hidden spot with Mineral Spirits or lighter fluid-if it doesn't soften the plastic use some on a Q-Tip for each fleck.
3. Wax and grease remover for paint, such as PPG DX330 or DX440, or DuPont PrepSol. Again, test in a hidden spot first.
4. Call Lifter 1 for advice.

If the ingredients is listed plainly on the Lifter 1, see if you recognize any of them that are solvents. They might work.
