Knicks in HOOD.
Touch up will work fine as long as you are using your oem paint. For the micro sized chips they will cover nicely. Your best bet is to take your time and to patiently fill in the chip(s) as best as possible.
If you are not too great at it or you have a larger chip you could see whether a body shop will be able to repair it.
BTW: get used to the chips, bcause our 4th gens, especially the SS with the poorly painted SLP hoods will get chips no matter what. Of course, your detailing and wax quality will help tremendously in keeping the chips down. Good luck.

Hey, thanx for the advice, maybe I'll give it a shot. I'm totally aware of the SS paint chip problems, it's just that my last two SS's were white, and my current one is black......I just notice it more now when I'm washing my baby.
cheers
If your cars black just get it repainted, its a black car so it doesnt need to be blended. Probably will cost around 300 to 400 but Id much rather that then having touch up paint all over the hood. Unless its just a spot or 2.
