Interior cleaning tip...

I am sure there are others that do this - but I just picked up some more supplies this weekend - so I thought I would share my best tool for interior cleaning.

Tack Cloth's. They are cheap, and they last forever! (No, not literally). But they work great for cleaning up a plastic dash and other plastic interior pieces - just wipe over it - and its like new. And it doen't just wipe the dust onto your console, then into the floor - it grabs it.

Just thought I would share.

And if anyone doesn't know - tack cloth can be purchased in the paint department at Lowe's, Home Depot, or even Wal-Mart. About $0.99 a pack...Wal-Mart had them under the tent this weekend for $0.49

Good tip. Heres a couple others: I keep a bag of Swiffer sheets in my detailing kit, and wipe down the dash, console etc. Grabs all the dust, and doesnt leave any residue behind. Clothes rollers (ie lint sheets) are useful too, for giving the carpet and floor mats a once over, in between vacuuming. Use a Meguiars leather wipe on the seats and door panels, and you are done!
