if you don't mind overspray everywhere, black exhaust pipes, orange peel, and a year or two down the road peeling paint, then go for it. The only time i would use Maaco would be if you are planning on selling the car very soon and just want it to look good for the sale.

 

really, this is the presidential paint job this normally a 900 and some dollar paint job. I am gettingthis because of the military discount, but if they are that bad i don't know. I want to do this just to hold me over for a little while because the price is right and until i can afford a better paint job. Mine is done and i have the 96 SS and it looks like garbage. Anything would be better than what I have now.

go for it if ya really need it, my friend worked there while in high school for co-op and told me all the horror storys also that "discount" is bull everyone gets that. intergrated clear coat is a scam no such thing its a enamel paint with extra hardner in it, the bumpers will crack and peel cause they dont have that down yet cause the materials are inferior. i am waiting till i have the 3k saved up to have mine done at a local corvette paint place they do awsome work
