How much $ to paint rear bumper?
How much $ to paint rear bumper?
My car is red but the previous owner seems to have tried to touch up a couple scratches on the rear bumper with red spray paint...
the enamel paint of course does not take well to waxing, polishing, etc. so now some areas are showing more discoloration and water spotting than the rest.
How much would be a fair price for a body shop to charge if I do the sanding and they just primer, light sand and shoot the color on the entire bumper? my paint is still stock, no fancy color or metallic, the bumper needs no bodywork, the shape is perfect.
Would the rear bumper have to be removed to this or can it be painted installed on the car?

You can scotchbrite the whole bumper (easier to do on car). Might want to wetsand 400 grit the spray painted areas. In most cases a painter can use an adhesion promoter such as Bulldog and then the basecoat and clear.
Painting is easier with bumper off car.
No more than $200 , but what state are you in? Usually more in California.

I thought about the berger panel (mine has a little scrape in the corner where it joins the bumper) but the car is completely stock outside... maybe if I had different wheels I might go for a black panel.
