how long will zaino keep a normal paintjob looking new?
I got my car painted but didnt get any clearcoat on it. I wanna know how long Zaino will keep my 94Z looking like new if it is mostly garaged & washed weekly...very well taken care of. Any tips from people that have normal paintjobs?
Since my car didnt get clearcoated when it was painted a few weeks ago, can I get it clearcoated somewhere else, or is it too late?

This section isnt very busy. I wait a couple days and come back to see the replies.. anyways...
Why didnt you get a clearcoat??? I would go back and get one done, im no expert in paint but if you want your paint to last you need a clearcoat..
Zaino last much much longer than wax. Wax on daily driver lasts about 2weeks and then you can notice it starting to come off. Zaino should last you the whole summer..

why I didnt get it clearcoated? Well actually I thought that all paintjobs got a layer of clearcoat, just being nieve I guess. Anyways, I called the place that painted my car just to ask about waxing it and such, and thats when I found out it didnt have any clear. When I asked him about it, he said it would cost an extra $200 for them to coat it with a couple layers of clearcoat, then I would have to take it to get buffed out somewhere else. Does that sound worth it?
If I were you, I would shoot an email to Sal at wet@zainobros.com . He is quite informative and has always been happy to reply to questions I have emailed to him. He is also an auto painter by trade, so he could probably tell you about getting a clearcoat after the fact as well. Good luck!

The Zaino will outlast any other product and protect better. Without a clear coat I'd put extra coats of Zaino on to help protect it. You may want to consider getting a clear coat added to your car.

The clear coat is just clear paint, you can paint your car anytime. The only problem with waiting is it is more likely that any chips or whatever type of repairs that may be needed the longer you wait, BUT, that is going to happen in time anyway. Just add a bunch of coats of Zaino until you have enough money to get it clear coated. Just make sure when you do get it painted that they remove the Zaino, because the paint won't stick if you don't, but a reputable shop will do it right.
