How long does it take Zaino to dry??
Geez, my coat of Z2 has been on there for two hours. I'm a new user and I can already tell this stuff isn't going to be any better than Meguiars. I should've known better. This is way too time consuming.
Meguiar's may be seem quicker to apply, but it also doesn't last near as long. So what do you really want? To let Z dry a little longer, or apply a coat of Meguiar's every few weeks to maintain 100% shine.
To answer your question though, the initial application can easily take more than 1 hour to dry, even up to 3 or more depending on weather conditions. After the initial coat, one coat of Z should dry within an hour in hot or warm temps. If it's taking longer than 1 or 2 hours for a coat to dry, you are spreading it WAY too thick. Zaino = THIN = perfection!

I probably have it too thick in spots, but other places it is not. None of it is drying. My instruction sheet didn't say to just use a capful and to wet the pad. I usually wet the applicator, but it didn't say to do that.
I have another problem now. My neighbor just mowed and now there is a fine layer dirt all over the zaino

Sounds like you definitely used too much, that is why it is taking so long to dry. If you think you are putting it on too thin, put it on even thinner. Applying it too thick is what all new Zaino users do, unless they had a Zaino user help them get started. You'll get the hang of it very quickly. It will look better with each coat you add. Try to get down to where you are only using about 0.5 oz. for an entire application.

Thanks, I'll try to thin it down a lot more!
Biz,
I was kind of pissed about the mowing thing. I figured my neighbor would mow soon, but I still wanted to try the Zaino today. I guess he was ready to try out his new mower as much as I was my Zaino. I tried to pop the towel I was using across the paint to knock as much of the dirt off as I could. It wasn't as bad as I made it sound, but it was bad enough. I didn't know what else to do. Zaino is definitley non abrasive because I can see no new scratches. I was really, really worried how that would turn out!
